The Keeping up With Kardashians, reality star, Kim Kardashian on Tuesday was trolled for splashing images of her 40th birthday on social media platforms during the pandemic.

Kim Kardashian had surprised her close relatives and friends as she took them to Tahiti island after two weeks of multiple health screens and quarantine.

According to Kim, “We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40.”

Although Kim Kardashian acknowledged how covid19 has had impacted the way people used to live. She said, “Before COVID, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment.”

She added, “40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter.

The social media users, however, sarcastically responded to her post accusing the reality star of being complacent. @dark_mildred said, “All of you complaining about how you don’t have jobs, can’t eat or can’t bury your love ones, please continue because Kim Kardashian is the reason you can’t work she’s literally creating room for employment and enjoying her life. Look for work and stop being depressed.”

@tropicalsoul said, “Hi Poors! I know you’re hurting right now and can’t figure out how you’re going to feed your family, but please enjoy these photos of my family’s expensive vacation! I know I’m lucky to be so fabulously wealthy, so I’ll make mention of it to sound sympathetic (I’m really not tho).”

The US is battling the surge in Covid19 cases. Last week alone, the country recorded 83,000 new cases. So far, the nationwide tally stands at 8.7 cases. Some states like California have been hit hard.
