Days after being affirmed redundant by Media Max where he used to co-host a breakfast radio show alongside Alex Mwakideu, Comedian Felix Odiwour popularly known as Jalang’ o it was implied through his Youtube channel Bonga na Jalas to his fans that he will be going back to the place where he started his first broadcasting journey.
“I might end up on Waiyaki way. And there are so many radio stations there is NRG, Radio Jambo, KISS 100, classic 105, will decide. But I had an amazing meeting with my friend and my boss, the first person who gave me the first-ever radio contract. Patrick Quarcoo. So take away NRG radio, but I think I might end up where it all began, Radio Africa. Which radio? I still do not know,” said Jalang’ o.
He says since he left Milele FM his phone has been buzzing with concerned fans eager to know where he was headed to. The Comedian continued to reveal to his fans that he had received calls from eight radio stations in the country with the most recent being KBC Radio where Bonnie Msambi asked him to join him on the morning show of which he turned down the offer.
“I have had a call from now the eighth radio with the morning one today from KBC with the amazing Bonni Msambi and told me bro what is the plan; I need you to come we work together. I told him, Bonnie I am not coming, I am not coming. You already have an amazing show, go ahead do it,” Jalang’ o said.
His co-host Alex Mwakideu couldn’t believe when he broke the news to him. “Mwakideu sank low and told me, bro, you are lying and told him it is the truth, the redundancy affected me, and I will not be coming to work. Mwakideu told me that it was the longest four hours of his life because he had to do the show alone. He cried,” added Jalang’ o.
He concluded by saying that it was difficult for him to leave Milele FM, but he was glad that he got an opportunity to work alongside his best friend, Alex Mwakideu.
