Migos teased the prospect of new music as the group celebrated the anniversary of their last studio album dubbed “Culture II” Yesterday (January 26).

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Migos reflected on the milestone of the group’s album, Culture II, which officially dropped three years ago while acknowledging their fans.

“3 Years Ago Culture II Dropped. We want to thank the fans and everyone on our team that helped us get to where we are today. New Music OTW So Stay Tuned!” The group wrote.

The trio (Quavo, Offset and Takeoff) have been promising the third instalment in their ‘Culture’ album series since the release of ‘Culture II’ back in January 2018. Their anticipated fourth studio album didn’t materialize in 2020, however, while Quavo confirmed back in May that Migos’ next studio project wouldn’t be titled ‘Culture III’.

Earlier, the group had indicated that the next album would no longer be called Culture 3. Quavo said in December that Migos were “done with the Album” but were “just waiting on 2021 so everything can crank up”

A recent tweet from Quavo seems to hint at a revisitation of the series: “Happy anniversary, looking back on three years of Culture 2. The Clock Starts Now!” He wrote.

Offset, the Father Of 4 rapper hinted that their next project would be a proverbial “return to the bando,” a claim that successfully piqued the interest of many day-one fans.

Last year saw Migos drop several stand-alone singles, including ‘Need It’ with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, ‘Racks 2 Skinny’ and the Young Thug and Travis Scott-featuring ‘Give No Fxk’.
