LAGOS, Nigeria— Ashawo hit singer Chinedu Okoli aka Flavour has disclosed that he didn’t have sex until he was 24 years old.

The singer made the uncovering during an interview with media personality, Ebuka Obu-Uchendu on the BlackBox interview series.

“I was a virgin up to 24,” Flavour said revealed.

The clearly shocked Ebuka could not believe Flavour’s sentiment as he asked again, “So you didn’t have sex till you were 24?”

Supporting his statement, Flavour mentioned that the man who took him in during his mandatory National Youth Service Corp programme did not allow television, woman, or alcohol.

“No sex till I was 24-years-old. And the first time I had sex, everything happened while I was working. The first time it happened we had a show in Enugu. It was for the opening of a hotel and they brought a lot of girls from Ebonyi State University, ESUT…mixture na and we were the band.” Flavour explained.

“At that time, I didn’t know nothing, just playing and singing at the same time. There was a lady sitting by the side of the owner of the hotel. As I was playing, she came up the stage and we were vibing.”

The singer has got people talking on social media over his confession, which quite a section of netizens found unbelievable.

The highlife musician also ridiculed the rumours that he got married to her baby mama, Sandra Okagbue in August 2020.

One notable collaboration with Chidinma on Ololufe left tongues wagging as the music video ended with the two kissing.

Fans believed that the two were dating until they cleared the air, saying they were just friends, nothing more.
