Ghana—NellaMich a Ghanaian female afrobeat sensation called upon women not to accept the “Women are emotional and cannot attain great fit in society” but instead should be bold and daring enough in all their pursuits in life.
The speedy rising afrobeat singer, called upon women to reject this statement after her colleague in the Ghanaian music industry, Wendy Asiamah Addo alias Wendy Shay stated that women are emotional and need strive harder and go the extra mile to be more effective rather than being excuse oriented time and again.
According to NellaMich, women should not be clouded by their emotional traumas but instead defy the barriers to allow them to fully exploit their God given talents adding that one must be willing to sacrifice what’s comfortable to attain what’s necessary and everything one wants has associated costs.
As WendyShay views women as weaker naturally born emotional beings, Nellamich sees women as super heroes, not just emotional humans.
Nellamich has since challenged women to embrace more roles they think they’re tough because they have all the space in the modern world and that the world in general supports women.
“When you give a woman an opportunity to be a leader in any role, the success results is always 99%, women in the 21st century are born leaders hence should be accorded the needed support in whatever role they assume. Women in the music industry must be given special attention and support because they are best entertainers and work harder to be in the limelight.” She spoke.
The self-proclaimed Queen of Afrobeat advised ladies in the creative industry to soldier on doing the exceptional and by so doing they would stand out and quash all the barricades erected on their way.
The “Kokabi” and “Smile for me” hit maker told women never to picture themselves as weak beings but instead view themselves as the strongest creatures ever created by God.
