Nigerian artists flood praises to Wizkid as his ‘Essence’ remix ft Tems and Justin Bieber becomes a success

Nigeria—Hailing from Lagos, music superstar Ace whose real name is Chuks Austine has joined his music counterparts and global fans in thanking Wizkid for his remix song “Essence” featuring Tems and A list Grammy-award winning American artist Justin Bieber.

It’s a jam among his other songs in his latest yet-to-be-released album dubbed Made in Lagos, set to drop on August 27. Justin through his Instagram account thanked Wizkid for letting him collaborate in the remix, noting in a caption.

“Thank you for letting me jump on the song of the summer. It has been a great moment working with the Niger finest voice. Let’s make haste and get the finest taste of it. It is out now. Essence remix you can’t get your ears off it.”

“Wizkid is Africa’s heritage and biggest music export, his craft has no doubt paved the way for him in the global stage and I have never been more proud to be of the same tribe, and from the same country. He creates space and also gives inspiration for young African talents like us.” Spoke Nigeria’s Afrobeat star Shizem.

The songwriter also revealed several projects he has been working on, saying that his next single will feature one of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeat stars, hiding the identity of the artist until they are done with the project.

“I am often inspired working with artists from Nigeria, the goal has always been to join forces pushing Afrobeat around the world. My next song is titled ‘call’ which features one of the finest singers from Nigeria. At the moment, we are on editing it and should be out before the end of August.”

According to one of the insiders and allies to Shezem the song is aimed to revolutionize the Nigerian entertainment industry and he hopes it actually does. Preparing fans physiologically about the positive impact of the song.
