Nigeria—Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper. He rose to prominence with the release of the song “Iron Man”, which appeared on Barack Obama’s 2019 summer playlist.

Rema has finally announced the release date for his debut album, “Raves and Roses”

This follows closely to his recently released single, “Calm Down” which serves as one of the 15 tracks on the upcoming album.

“‘Calm Down’ is about the events that led me to find love at the time,” Rema said in a statement. “It started at a party where I saw a girl who stood out from other girls so I felt like shooting my shot.

We spoke and danced… but her friends didn’t let me get any closer which killed the vibe, but afterward, when they weren’t there, we stayed in touch and hit it off.”

Recall, the Mavin records/Jonzing star has long teased his debut album on social media.

He praised the potential album, saying that he’ll be at peace knowing the album will bring an infinite level of energy to listeners.

Rave and Roses are now available on preorder and will be released on digital platforms on March 25th, 2022.
